Director’s Message

Dear NOVAdance Community,

Since the very first NOVAdance in 2013, Villanova students have continued to show up for kids battling cancer across the world. From raising $67,000 at the very first NOVAdance Marathon, to raising over $700,000 in 2025, this community has continued to rally around a very clear mission: no kid should have to battle cancer, and if they do, they will never fight alone. All of the money we raise goes directly to the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, the largest provider of financial assistance to families and children battling cancer in the United States. Together with the B+ Foundation, we provide not only financial assistance, but also emotional support, hope, and community to the families and children that we partner with.

This year, we are honored to continue to build a movement on Villanova’s campus throughout our 13th year of fighting childhood cancer. NOVAdance has provided a community for so many at Villanova, rallying students committed to serving others and making a difference. These students fundraise year round, make lifelong bonds with our B+ Heroes, and of course, attend our twelve hour dance marathon at the end of the year. Villanova students actively choose to show up and spend their time trying to help those that need it, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

While NOVAdance may be fueled by the students, the true reason we’re able to continue to grow is the genuine and unpredictable generosity of those around us. Maybe you’re on this website because your nephew asked you for a donation, or maybe you’re here because you’re interested in getting involved. Either way, our mission wouldn’t be possible without you. You have the power to help a family pay their mortgage while they spend days in the hospital with their child, unable to work. You have the power to help a family get their car fixed so they can take their child to and from treatment. NOVAdance exists because a few college students recognized that power back in 2013, and we are deeply dedicated to helping students make a lasting impact throughout their time at Villanova.

We are excited to connect with every corner of Villanova’s campus and beyond to make sure that everyone can find their home with NOVAdance. With this, we can work together to change the world for so many families that desperately need it. If you have any questions, or would like to hear more about the impact that you can have, please reach out at novadanceexec@gmail.com

Thank you,
